Dr. Eric Eisen received his DVM from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1986.
Prior to that, he received a Master of Science from New Mexico State University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Massachusetts. He moved to Colorado in 1989 and has been practicing in Lakewood since 1997.

His wife Kim and their two Irish Wolfhounds, Myrna and Gryffen, live in the Boulder area. Professionally, his interests include giant breed dogs, dermatology, dentistry, and surgery. Personally, Dr. Eisen enjoys music, gardening, skiing, and cooking.

Dr. Carla Anema is a Denver native and a graduate of Colorado State University. She has been with the practice since 2000.

Her family includes her husband, Brian and their cats: Avery, Luna, Smokey Joe, and Olive (the newest member). Dr. Anema enjoys reading, cooking (especially eating), traveling, and jewelry making.

Dr. Erika Olson received her B.A. in Biology from Brown University in 1999, her M.S. in Anatomy and D.V.M. from Colorado State University in2005.

She practiced small animal medicine in Seattle, Washington and Denver before joining Wadsworth Animal Hospital in July 2010. Dr. Olson graduated from CSU's Medical Acupuncture course in 2005 and has practiced acupuncture on cats, dogs, ferrets, rodents and one turtle.

Dr. Olson shares her home in Morrison with her husband, young daughter, two dogs, one cat, a bearded dragon and a one-eyed goldfish. When not caring for her patients, she spends her time with her family outdoors, still trying to dry out from her years in Seattle.


Ali.JPGAllyson, our practice manager, has been with Wadsworth Animal Hospital and Pets Vet of Lakewood since 2000. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Colorado in 2008.

She shares her home with a Great Dane named Ula, a Shar-Pei mix named Scooby, and two cats, Elmo and Church. In her spare time, Allyson loves hockey, hiking, and walking the dogs.

Amber is a Colorado native and has worked in the veterinary field since she was sixteen years old.  She majored in Fish, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology in May 2011 from Colorado State University.  She is planning on working in the Colorado Division of Wildlife as a Wildlife Biologist.  She has a German shepherd named Duke. Amber enjoys anything outdoors including camping, fishing, and hiking.

Carissa recently Started at Wadsworth Animal Hospital. She graduated from Pima Medical Institute on April 5, 2010 as a Veterinary Assistant. Carissa has one kitten named Tigger.

She enjoys spending time with her daughter and family, going to the movies, and anything outdoors such as hiking, walking, camping, and more.

Stephanie, our receptionist, started with Wadsworth Animal Hospital in March 2010. She has worked in the veterinary field for 5 years. She has one Pyrenees mix named Daisy and two cats, Dusty and Sophie. She also thinks that nothing beats the smell of puppy breath.

Tamie has been a groomer for approximately 20 years and has been at Wadsworth Animal Hospital since the early 1990's. Tamie loves her job and working with animals. She is married to Rodney and has 3 children, Stephen, Valerie and Dirk. She has 3 grandchildren and 2 granddog. She also has 3 doggie children, Gizzy a Chihuahua, Rosie a Yorkie, and Paulo a Saint Bernard.Tamie enjoys reading, being on the computer and spending time with her family.
