At Wadsworth Veterinary Hospital, we are committed to giving your dogs and cats the same high-quality treatment, from pet vaccinations to acupuncture, that you would want for any family member. Our veterinarians want to be your "other family doctor," supporting your pet through all life stages.

Dr. Eric Eisen received his DVM from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine after also receiving a Master of Science from New Mexico State University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Massachusetts. His professional interests include pet dermatology, pet dental care and the medical needs of giant breed dogs. He and his wife have two Irish wolfhounds, Myrna and Gryffen.

Denver native Dr. Carla Anema received her DVM from Colorado State University and has been with the practice since 2000. She and her husband live with cats Luna, Smokey Joe and Olive.

Dr. Erika Olson received her DVM from Colorado State University. A graduate of CSU's medical acupuncture course, she has practiced pet acupuncture on cats, dogs, ferrets, rodents—even a turtle. She joined our animal hospital in 2010 after previously practicing small animal medicine in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Olson shares her home with her husband, son and daughter, two dogs, one cat, a bearded dragon and a one-eyed goldfish.

Our veterinarians are supported by Allyson, a University of Colorado graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, who is our practice manager and has been with our animal hospital since 2000. She lives with her Great Dane, Ula, Scooby, a Shar-Pei mix, and two cats, Elmo and Church; Stephanie is our receptionist, whose Pyrenees mix is named Daisy and two cats are Dusty and Sophie and has been in the veterinary field for over five years and with our animal hospital since March 2010; our veterinary assistants, Carissa, a 2010 graduate of Pima Medical Institute who has a cat named Nyra and Francesca, an alum of Western Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science who enjoys playing cat and mouse with her two rescue kittens, Sammy and Jaxx.

Our team is also fortunate to have groomer Tamie, whose dog grooming was named Best in Jeffco County in 2011. She offers dog grooming for all breeds and needs, from family pets to champion show dogs. Dog grooming is an important tool for good skin care for all of our pets. In her spare time, Tamie enjoys her husband, children, grandchildren and three dogs: Gizzy, a Chihuahua; Rosie, a Yorkie: and Paulo, a Saint Bernard.
